closing和closure辨析

用作名词时，closure作永久关闭的意思。譬如一个工厂破产了。某个学校停办了。closing作为名词，则既能够表示永久关闭，也可以表示暂时关闭。所以上句中的the closing of schools不能用closure替换。

the closing date中的closing并非名词，而是close的动名词。closure一般不需要作定语。
